HOME-START
NATIONAL INC is
committed to promoting the welfare of parents and their children and the
establishing of Home-Start schemes throughout Australia.
Home-Start National auspices a number
of Home-Start programs as well as supports Home-Start schemes in return for
a small annual fee. Each Home-Start scheme receives relevant training,
information and guidance and personal support from Home-Start National Inc.
A close relationship between
Home-Start National Inc. and each local scheme is essential to ensure that
high standards and methods of practice are maintained and that Home-Start
everywhere retains a common ethos.
Home-Start's vision is a
society in which every parent has the support they need to give their
children the best possible start in life.
Home-Start
is a voluntary home visiting service which offers practical support and
friendship to families with at least one child under five.
